Jesus was very clear in his instructions to the church - we are to love and serve the world in the same way He did. It is a firm belief of ours that we should be serving our community and actually "being" the church.
Our LifeGroups have opportunities to serve the community on the second Saturday of every month. We also encourage those who aren't involved in a LifeGroup to get involved in these serving opportunities.
Our serving opportunities include nursing home visits, Habitat for Humanity, community clean up, free water give-aways, and much, much more. We even "shut-down" on Sundays once a quarter and worship God by serving in the community during our normal worship celebration time. Sound crazy??? Maybe you should give it a try!
