What is LifeQuest all about???

“Quest” is defined by Webster as: a seeking; a pursuit; a journey in search of adventure. Isn’t that really what we are all doing – seeking and pursuing happiness? We realize that everyone is on a quest for something. It may be a better job, a better marriage, a better life or simply peace in their heart. At LifeQuest Church, we are on a quest to live the life that God desires for us. Our quest will involve faith, love, serving others and even risk – but we are pursuing God – and THAT IS AN ADVENTURE! What about you? Are you looking for something in life, but not quite sure what it is? Are you ready to go on a journey that is sure to bring your life adventure? Our logo on the Home Page has special meaning. Isaiah 40:31 states…”those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” The eagle represents the power and freedom that we have through Christ. What an awesome thing to know that as we trust in the Lord, we can soar, run and walk with HIM and He is always there to take care of us. The world represents our “quest” in life – to reach the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Great Commission tells us to “go and make disciples of all nations”. Simply put, that is the “quest” of LifeQuest Church – to change the world one person at a time.
